Anton Thayalan

Anton counts over two decades of experience across diverse businesses, namely; the hospitality, travel, financial and insurance industries in Sri Lanka and in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). He has served in leadership positions at premier organizations such as the HSBC Global Processing Centre, Pan Arabian Shipchandlers, DNATA / Emirates Group, Janashakthi Insurance PLC and the AMAZAI Group of Companies.

With a proven track record of performance, Anton has received many accolades for his result-driven delivery and exemplary leadership abilities. Specializing in operations management, project management, event management and customer service, he has woven together business solutions that optimized costs and leveraged resources using lean methodology, to yield positive outcomes.

Having held many leadership positions, he has a rare blend of people management competency, and is adept in leadership development, performance management, relationship management as well as talent sourcing & development. He is also a management trainer, coach and an event manager.

Anton is a certified Six Sigma green belt and an adept communicator who is fluent in English and a number of other languages. He also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.
